Stephen

Installation Manager

"The work that goes into every job before it even lands on site and then the detail that goes into fitting every job to the highest possible standard."

How did you end up working as a cabinet maker and fitter?
I got an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker in Navan in 1998 and 22 years later I’m still enjoying my work.

What do you love most about the job?
The variety of work we do, not just kitchens and bedrooms, but also commercial work and one off projects. Also the job satisfaction when you finish up and see the finished product.

What do you wish clients knew about the work you do?
The work that goes into every job before it even lands on site and then the detail that goes into fitting every job to the highest possible standard.

What job are you most proud of?
I’ve worked on a lot of different projects, but a recent one was a planter/seating area for an office in Dublin where we had completed a lot of other work. I spent a few days in the workshop building it in two sections, before taking it apart again to reassemble on site where it all went together without a hitch.

What does the team say about Stephen?
He has a lot of patience and calm head, he doesn’t get worked up too easily whatever the issue, if there is a problem there’s usually a solution!
