This is where your new kitchen begins. Where you can rely on our expertise, our design flair and our commitment to work with you every step of the way, so that together, we’ll create your perfect kitchen.

1. Prepare for your Consultation

Before you speak with one of our designers, you’ll need to take some kitchen measurements with the help of our easy-to-follow ‘How to measure’ guide. This helps us understand exactly what’s needed for your space – and we’re happy to do a Home Survey to check all measurements later.

2. Meet with your JD Kitchen designer

We’ll discuss what your want from your new kitchen and any other space in your home, we can look after more than just your kitchen! Your designer will share ideas, take you through our ranges, answer any questions and then start work on your design

3. Receive a design and quote

After your consultation you’ll receive an initial quote. To review the design with one of our designers, simply get in touch. We’ll arrange an appointment for you, either in our showroom or online to go through the details and discuss any changes you might need.

4. Kitchen is ordered

Once you are happy with the design, a deposit of 50% is required to order your kitchen. We will book another appointment with you, to choose finishes, colours, handles, appliances and anything else you have been dreaming about. At this stage the design is signed off and a workshop file is prepared for our cabinet makers. If your cabinetry is coming from our German partners, we place an order with the German factory.

5. Final adjustments

Once your kitchen is ready to be surveyed, we will check all measurements and make any adjustments that may be needed to your design. It is at this stage that we can finalise an installation date.

6. Installation

Installation takes approximately 2 days for a kitchen, more if we are looking after other areas in your home. If you have chosen quartz, Dekton or natural stone worktops our supplier will come to your home to take measurements once the cabinetry has been installed. They will return within approximately 5-10 working days to install your worktops. Your plumber can now connect up your sink, tap, dishwasher etc and your electrician can connect your hob. Once installation is complete, your kitchen is ready for use and your final payment is due.
