Exquisite Details in Birch Plywood
One of our very favourite projects, the one that comes to mind when we’re asked what we’re most proud of. This was a special project, commissioned by a client with a background in engineering, an eye for detail and a passion that matched ours.
Kitchen, window seat, bespoke shelving, boot room, utility, walk in wardrobe… everything about this project was bespoke and every detail mattered.
Our workshop manager spent hours perfecting the handle grip on the birch ply door, ensuring the layers of ply were cut in just the right place.
This was a labour of love for everyone involved.
The kitchen, window seat, window reveals & feature open shelving are entirely built in birch ply, including the cabinet interiors.
White quartz around the sink contrasts with a stunning piece of Verde Malachite granite on the island.
Rather than using an island extractor, the venting hob ensures the vaulted ceiling and feature lighting get all the attention.
A practical utility room, slick boot room area inside the back door and bespoke wardrobes all deliver a superior finish and exceptional functionality.
“We had a very clear idea and vision for the kitchen in our modern new build house. When we met Carol and John they instantly understood what we wanted and worked hard with us to design our birch ply kitchen.
Their attention to detail and time allocated to us and our design was very reassuring during a busy build process. We’re delighted with our kitchen and the quality of craftsmanship which was all delivered with great customer service from the JD team.”
